As a Software Engineer in the AI and Automation Team, you will be responsible for developing the APIs that power Corto’s Core AI capabilities. The team is also responsible for building a robust system that extracts and ingests large amount data from various sources to provide data used in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). 

What will you be working on as an AI Software Engineer ?

This is an incredible opportunity to be part of an engineering team building the next generation of our products. The day to day will include:

·          Design and develop AI architectures and solutions to meet business requirements. 

·          Lead the experimentation of internal AI projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. 

·          Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems and processes. 

·          Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning. 

·          Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members. 

·          Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI tools, frameworks, and technologies for various projects. 

·          Develop and maintain documentation for AI solutions, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. 

·          Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems. 

·          Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. 

What experience do you need to become a, AI Software Engineer?

·          Strong foundation in software design and development principles 

·          Experience with Generative AI based application development

·          Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

·          Experience with AWS technologies for software development 

·          Experience with PostgreSQL / PGVector is an advantage 

·          Experience with Python Development is an advantage 

·          Big Data / ML experience is an advantage
